Karavan Treks didint begin as a business plan. It began as a feeling - the kind you get when you stand on a ridge at sunrise watching the world wake up below you
Karavan Treks is a community-driven trekking company founded by passionate trekkers, for those who seek meaningful experiences in the mountains. Established in 2025, Karavan Treks Pvt. Ltd. was born out of a vision to make trekking safer, more immersive, and deeply connected to nature.
The journey began with our founder, Mohana Beeregowda, an avid trekker who grew up on the green banks of the River Kabini and found his calling in the mountains. From the misty trails of the Western Ghats to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, his love for trekking evolved into a mission to bring more people closer to nature.
Today, Karavan Treks has successfully organised 100+ treks across the Western Ghats and 10+ Himalayan expeditions, including iconic routes like Valley of Flowers, Kashmir Great Lakes, and Annapurna Base Camp. Our team consists of enthusiastic trekkers and travellers who share the same passion and values.
At Karavan, we believe trekking is more than reaching a summit—it’s about building a community, practicing sustainable travel, and creating experiences that leave you richer in memories and respect for the mountains.
